Stormwater Research Council

The Minnesota Stormwater Research Council (MSRC) is an independent not-for-profit organization made up of stormwater professionals, practitioners, managers, engineers and researchers. The council facilitates studies about water resource use, assesses research priorities and coordinates research goals across the many agencies and organizations that protect Minnesota’s water resources.

Additional Resources for Regional Stormwater Research

The Minnesota Water Research Digital Library (MnWRL) is a searchable inventory of documents focused on research and projects relevant to water in Minnesota.

The University of Minnesota Stormwater Research Program is currently developing new treatment technologies, providing guidance for assessment and maintenance of treatment practices, investigating groundwater impacts from stormwater infiltration, and improving models for runoff and treatment practices.
