DESCRIPTION:The Board of Managers of Capitol Region Watershed District (CRWD) has set the regular 2026 Board meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 P.M.\, unless otherwise noted or a special meeting is called. \nCRWD is holding a public hearing on its Preliminary 2027 Budget at the Board of Managers meeting on Wednesday\, August 19\, 2026\, at 6:00 p.m. at the District office. All people interested and affected thereby may attend the meeting in person or virtually and be heard at this time. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a screening of the new PBS documentary film\, “We Are the River: How the Mississippi Shaped Minnesota\,” co-hosted by Capitol Region Watershed District and Saint Paul Parks Conservancy\, at our Watershed Learning Center (595 Aldine Street\, Saint Paul\, MN 55104). \nThis powerful film brings to life the stories of the Mississippi River told from the perspectives of Dakota elders\, aquatic ecologists\, paddlers\, stewards and wildlife enthusiasts.  Through their voices\, the film explores the river’s cultural significance\, ecological importance\, and enduring connection to the people and communities it sustains. \nFollowing the screening\, we’ll come together for reflection\, conversation\, and connection through a facilitated panel discussion featuring local experts and community voices.
