Water Resource Technician
Full Time Permanent

Capitol Region Watershed District seeks a full-time Water Resource Technician.  Special emphasis will be placed on assisting with the operation and maintenance of a watershed-wide stormwater monitoring program, and assisting with the monitoring, maintenance and inspection of District Best Management Practices (BMPs).  A Bachelor’s of Science degree or equivalent in Water Resources or a related field is required.  Experience with stream hydrology, water quality monitoring and data analysis are essential.  Experience with stormwater management, and BMPs is preferred.  One to two years of professional experience is preferred.  This position requires work in small teams in the field in all weather conditions.  Must have advanced skills in a variety of software including database management, Excel, and Word. Water Resource Technician
Full Time Temporary (4 Month)

Capitol Region Watershed District seeks a full-time Water Resource Technician in its Monitoring, Research and Maintenance Division to assist with the installation, operation and maintenance of monitoring equipment.  

Work Term and Hours:  Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 with 40 hours per week required from May-August. Part time schedule flexibility is allowed for students to complete course work. Permit Inspector
Full Time Temporary (5 Month)

Capitol Region Watershed District seeks a Permit Inspector in its Regulatory Division to assist with permitted construction site inspections and compliance.

Work Term and Hours:  Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 with 40 hours per week required from June-September. Part time schedule flexibility is allowed for students to complete course work.
